They were very friendly and accommodating, and it was the perfect location for our entire team. WE RENTED IT THE ENTIRE INN for the week. There are kitchens, laundry, a grill and a beautiful porch with beautiful scenery. There's a nearby creek for fishing and swimming. Enough space for all our families and the feral ballpark siblings! Rooms are spacious, staff is accommodating but also leave you alone to do your own thing. Spacious back area for the kids to play wiffle ball, football and just run around. Grills for cooking out as a team when you get back from a long day at the ballpark! Huge screened in patio for hanging out, having team dinner or just hanging out while it rains. 15-20 minutes to each park. A dollar general 2 minutes down the road. Walmart is maybe 10, 3 full kitchen and living room suites! I could go on and on! Great time, would definitely stay here again!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This encounter was right out of the set of a movie script, yet I assure you it was real. Traveling by motorcycle on the return from NH, I pulled off the highway as an unexpected storm was fast approaching and getting later in the day. Realizing there was nothing around with dark clouds threatening, I quickly found this place on google maps simply hoping for an overhang of shelter. The wind and rain immediately set in just as I pulled into the parking lot, where a man who arrived nearly the same time approached while holding an umbrella. I asked and he asserted to be the owner. He inquired my reservation status as he was there waiting on a scheduled guest, but when finding out I did not, he still offered for me to pull my bike close to the building entrance and follow him into the closed screened in porch for shelter. We talked for a bit as I was hoping the storm would pass, but I ultimately took the offer for a room and stayed the night.

Well the storm passed and I ended up cooking out on the back porch with a nice farmland view. Slept in comfort with a clean room and excellent shower. This place is privately owned and operated, some great history behind it, and the host is great. I would add this stop to the list if you are looking for a place to stay in the area.
